The indexable CBN inserts are mainly used for machining boron cast iron. Many customers are also using on cylinder sleeves with good responses. This groove inserts are exchangeable with carbide groove inserts. But CBN groove inserts show better life performance with reasonable price.

Boron cast iron is used for cylinder sleeve because of its wear resistance. Hence, CBN is preferred in the application of machining cylinder sleeve.

CTRI generally produces full face CBN, half face CBN, CBN tipped with one corner, two corner, three corners, four corners, six corners and eight corners.

Solid carbide is extremely heat resistant and used for high speed applications. It is commonly used on cast iron, nonferrous materials, plastics and other tough-to-machine materials.

Cutting tools for PCD material.

Mainly cutting and machining non-ferrous or non-metallic materials, such as: high, medium and low silicon content aluminum alloy and other aluminum, copper alloy and pure copper, synthetic fiber, carbon fiber, glass and plastic, wood and its composite materials.

1,Quenched steel, high hardness cast iron, powder smelting metal, rolling stick, mold steel, ceramics, tungsten alloy, nickel-based alloy, high temperature alloy steel, molybdenum, 16 manganese chromium, thermal spray welding materials, super alloy and other materials with hardness greater than Rockwell HRC45 degrees or more.

2, pearlite gray cast iron, gray cast iron, ductile iron and other cast iron with hardness less than Rockwell HRC45 degrees or more.
